This is my home. Been here for almost five years. They’re finally paving my street! A week ago they paved it and they’re half-way done putting Bahai sod down the drainage ditches along the road. I should take a picture!
People have been coming out of the woodwork, walking up and down the street. People riding bikes, skateboards, rollerblades — each and every day! It’s really starting to “feel” like a neighborhood, rather than a dirt road with ppl happening to live down it.
Now there is about 20 pallets of sod sitting in front of my house — waiting to be put down. I considered taking some (’cause our lawn really needs more sod) but decided against it simply because I don’t want to take away from how beautiful the street will look once its done. Thankfully, it looks like nobody else on the street has taken any sod either. I just hop the workers come today to put it down. When they do, I’ll pick up 300+ feet of hose and start watering it every day so that we get the lushest ditch in the neighborhood 🙂
